Whole Earth Nature School is a professional organization specialized in eco-tours in the Mt. Fuji region. Mountaineering : To the summit of Mt. Fuji

This is a guided summer mountaineering course in the Mt. Fuji, the highest and world famous mountain in Japan. Group size is tailored to allow for appropriate instruction ratio (Usually around 3 to 7per guide). Among the four ascending routes on Mt. Fuji, we take the Fujinomiya trail which will bring you to the very top of the Mt. Fuji in the shortest time (about 8000 feet: the highest peak in Japan).

Nature walk in the Mt.Fuji Forest

Watching beautiful birds and plants, we take you into the forest on the foot of Mt.Fuji. This tour is widely open to anyone who wants to enjoy the nature of Mt.Fuji with the interpretation of fauna, flora and the geology. The tour will be held at either side of Mt. Fuji which is more convenient for you.

Special Winter Tour: Animal Detectives

This course will focus on the wild lives living in the forest. We take a walk in the forest finding the footprints of the animals. In the case of deep snow, we put snow shoes on.
This is the special tour only for the winter. Focusing on the wild lives in the forest on Mt.Fuji, we take a walk on the snow. The wild lives leave foot prints on the ground, so we follow the tracks. What is more, when the snow is deep enough, we put on snow shoes!

Futatu-Zuka Mountaineering: A Lateral Cone of Mt.Fuji

Let’s see Mt.Fuji from another side. 1 hour from the Gotenba trailhead by foot, at the height of 1.900m, there lays two hills at the shoulder of Mt. Fuji. Seeing the evidence of active volcanic mountain, we will take you to place with magnificent views!
